Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview
We want you to love your Blue Leto skin. If something goes wrong, we will make it right. This policy explains your rights and our process for returns, exchanges, and refunds, and complies with EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), Swiss consumer protection law (OR Art. 197 ff.), and applicable US consumer protection regulations.
2. EU / EEA customers — 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are located in the European Union or EEA and purchased as a consumer (not for business purposes), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving any reason, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
How to exercise this right: Send an unambiguous statement to takes.fyi@proton.me before the 14-day period expires. You may use the following template:
“I hereby withdraw from my contract for the purchase of [product], ordered on [date], received on [date]. Order number: [number].”
Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer unless the item was defective or incorrectly sent. Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the returned item, using the same payment method as the original purchase.
Note: The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are clearly personalised or sealed goods that have been unsealed and cannot be returned for hygiene or health-protection reasons after delivery. Standard vinyl skins (non-personalised) are eligible for withdrawal unless the packaging seal has been broken and the item has been applied to the device.
3. Switzerland
Under Swiss law (OR Art. 40a–40f), distance-sale contracts where the total value exceeds CHF 100 grant consumers a 7-day right of return unless the goods are custom-made or clearly personalised. Standard Blue Leto skins are eligible for return within 7 days of delivery. The buyer bears return shipping costs. Refunds are issued within 30 days.
4. United States
US customers may return unused, uninstalled items in original condition within 30 days of delivery. Items that have been applied to a device are not eligible for return as they cannot be restocked. Defective or incorrectly shipped items are refunded or replaced at no cost to the buyer. Contact us at takes.fyi@proton.me to initiate a return.
5. Defective or incorrect items
If your skin arrives damaged, defective, or is the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will ship a replacement at no charge or issue a full refund, at your choice. No need to return the defective item in most cases.
6. Non-returnable items
- Skins that have been applied to a device
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Items damaged through misuse, incorrect installation, or third-party modification
7. How to start a return
- Email takes.fyi@proton.me with your order number and reason for return.
- We will respond within 3 business days with return instructions.
- Ship the item back in its original packaging (or equivalent protection).
- Refund or replacement is processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
8. Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. We resolve most issues quickly and directly.
